Registered Nurse - Post Procedural Care

Schedule

This position is for a night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working on a fortnight schedule. Please note that weekends are not included, as we are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. Holiday work will be assessed individually based on surgical volumes.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will primarily care for post-procedural patients who are expected to stay 1 to 3 nights after their surgeries. Additionally, the nurse will provide care for Cath Lab patients and assist with some emergency room overflow when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-procedural patients, ensuring safety and comfort during their recovery.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to patient needs promptly and effectively.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Documentation of patient's medical history, assessments, and ongoing care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Current certifications as mandated by the state and facility requirements.
• Experience in post-operative care preferred.
