Post Procedural Patient Care RN

Schedule

This position requires a day shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with the potential to work up to 3 Saturdays within a 6-week schedule period. Please note that Sundays are closed.

Job Description

The Post Procedural Patient Care RN will primarily care for patients who have undergone surgery and typically stay for 1-3 nights. The role also includes caring for patients from the cath lab and handling some overflow from the emergency room as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for post procedural surgical patients.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and recovery progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Completion of fit test and Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen upon onboarding.
• Proof of immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and Tdap.
• Background checks and educational verification as required by Trinity standards.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
