Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, 36 hours/week, every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with substantial experience in cardiac care, particularly in managing cardiac drips such as amiodarone and cardizem. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in handling stroke patients and must possess the necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer cardiac drips and medications according to protocol.
• Provide comprehensive care for stroke patients.
• Cary out assessments and monitor patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with cardiac patients and drips required.
• Strong understanding of stroke protocols and patient care procedures.
