Registered Nurse - MICU

07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 36 hours/week, every third weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment. This role involves direct patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Utilize critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations to deliver care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Must meet health protocols, including immunization and drug screening requirements.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
