Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Lab

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are Monday to Thursday, 07:30 AM to 05:00 PM. On-call required.

Job Description

This role involves providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations in a surgical environment. The registered nurse will address psychosocial, physical, and overall aspects of care, maintaining continuous communication with the physician regarding patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
• Continuously assess the functioning and readiness of procedure rooms and equipment.
• Obtain necessary supplies for individual cases and support the needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state RN license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required upon start.
• A minimum of 4 years clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting required.
