X-Ray Tech - Weekend Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday.

Job Description

The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures, including but not limited to routine x-rays, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures. The technologist will work within various units, including the Emergency Room, children's ER, and inpatient departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging studies, including routine x-rays and specialized procedures.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during procedures.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly.
• Comply with all safety protocols for patient care and imaging.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for proper documentation of patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Radiology.
• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred.
• C-arm knowledge is required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
