Job Description

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments. This role requires the ability to work independently in completing assignments while adhering to guidelines that include physician orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures manuals. Nursing duties include offering support to individuals of all ages and their families.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care according to established nursing standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff and provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided.
• Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license from any state; AZ license not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within one year of hire.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification required within one year of hire.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required within one year of hire.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completion within six months of hire.
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 training within three months of hire.
• Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire.
