Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Requirements: 2 of 4 weekends per schedule or 4 of the 8 weekend shift days. Will hire for straight weekends if preferred by the candidate.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will have experience in neuro care, including familiarity with common diagnoses such as CVA, TIA, and seizure management.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for adults in a Neuro Med Surg setting.
• Monitor and assess patient vitals and conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient education and support discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on neuro care preferred.
• Certification in NIH Stroke Scale and Swallow Screen is preferred.
• Competence in dysrhythmia management.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on the first day of orientation.
