Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. No guaranteed hours.

Job Description

The emergency department operates with 28 beds, comprising 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. The environment is fast-paced with rapid patient turnover, emphasizing a team-oriented approach. Candidates are required to have a valid Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and effective nursing care in a high-demand emergency room setting.
• Manage the treatment of patients within a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize critical thinking skills for rapid assessment and intervention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Hawaii RN license required before the start of the assignment.
• Demonstrated experience in an emergency room setting preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with a diverse patient population.
