Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

This position offers a schedule of Tuesday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There is a requirement for on-call duty one night per week from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM, as well as every other weekend from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will join a fast-paced Operating Room setting. Responsibilities include assisting with various surgical specialties such as General, Ortho, ENT, Plastics, Robotics, and Urology. Candidates must be able to scrub and ideally possess experience with robotic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 6-bed OR environment.
• Effectively utilize EMR systems, specifically Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required.
• Robotic surgery experience preferred.
• Willingness to submit permanent home address and comply with submission guidelines.
