Registered Nurse - ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Note that assignments may be subject to cancellation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, administering medication, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families regarding health issues and plan of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications (ACLS and BLS) from AHA or equivalent.
• Valid state license to practice with no disciplinary actions.
• NIHSS certification required.
