Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team for night shifts. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in nursing, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
• Document care in accordance with standards and state laws.
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by a physician.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support of patient care.
• Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, including every other weekend and holiday, with 12-hour shifts.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
