Registered Nurse - Acute Care (Nights)

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for an acute care unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients. The role requires flexibility and commitment to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using MEDITECH.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions regularly.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• ACLS, BLS Certification, and PALS required.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
