Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical ICU

This is a 13-week contract position with a Day shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical ICU team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while adhering to established protocols. The RN will be responsible for managing critical patient cases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical ICU setting.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, utilizing Epic for charting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting is preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Travel experience and previous charge experience are preferred.
• State or compact RN license must be in hand at the time of application.
