Registered Nurse - Oncology Med/Tele Unit

Schedule

This position offers a rotating schedule, consisting of night shifts over a 12-hour duration from 7 PM to 7 AM or 7 AM to 7 PM, with a commitment of either 36 or 48 hours per week. There is a requirement for one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend, and at least one holiday shift must be worked during the contract.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Med/Tele Unit. This unit specializes in the care of patients with conditions such as Osteomyelitis, Chemotherapy, Small Bowel Obstruction, Sepsis, and TRAM. The ideal candidate will possess flexibility to adapt to the needs of the facility and may be required to float to other units as necessary.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Must have at least one year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry and oncology nursing.
• A minimum of two years of U.S. work experience is required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license and AHA BLS certification are required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
