Electrophysiology Lab Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Lab Technician will provide specialized support in the EP lab, focusing on advanced cardiac procedures such as ICD, SICD, Pacemakers, Structural Heart interventions, and EP Ablation PVI. The role requires expertise in maintaining high standards of patient care and managing complex technological equipment within the lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of electrophysiology procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain and manage lab equipment and supplies.
• Participate in patient education and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an electrophysiology specialty.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• RCIS (CVT) certification required.

Holiday Expectations

MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
