Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

12-hour day shifts, 7AM - 7:30PM, with a 12x3 rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications and manage complex medical equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Preferred certifications: CCRN and NIHSS.

Holiday Expectations

The candidate must be available to work during the major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as one minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
