Ultrasound Technologist - Multispecialty

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30). On-call required from 5 PM to 8 AM Monday to Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with multispecialty experience, including general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiograms, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill experience. The candidate will be expected to perform a variety of imaging procedures and assist in precepting new clinicians in the department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations.
• Provide quality patient care and comfort during procedures.
• Assist in the education and training of new staff and students.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
• Utilize Epic as the charting system for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Valid certifications: BLS, ARDMS or ARDMS VT or CCI or RDCS.
• Compact state license must be in hand at submission.
• Experience with various ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular imaging is essential.
