Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a day shift position, working five 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotational on-call coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in a Level III trauma center. The ideal candidate will maintain a sterile field, provide exceptional patient care, and assist in a variety of interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional radiology procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and preparation for procedures.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
• Document and chart procedures using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in on-call rotation, covering 15 hours on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends/holidays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and ARRT VI certifications preferred.
