Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to deliver patient-focused care to individuals in need of emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients based on severity and acuity of conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs and patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient care activities in the Epic electronic health record.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed, including CPR, wound care, and stabilization techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required.
• Epic EHR experience is mandatory.
