Oncology Clinic RN - Day Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule consisting of 4x10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays required.

Job Description

The Oncology Clinic RN will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient oncology setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced in administering chemotherapy and managing care for oncology patients. This role includes collaboration within a specific tumor group to deliver expert care tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care plans.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care protocols.
• Float among clinics as required, maintaining patient care standards.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation of patient information and care delivered.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient oncology experience required.
• BLS certification is mandatory; OCN certification is preferred.
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
