Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a strong orthopedic background to join our Ortho/Spine unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the orthopedic surgical team, including procedures related to knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries.
• Monitor patient progress and document care using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including unit secretaries and PCTs.
• Manage patient assignments maintaining a 6:1 patient ratio.
• Participate in weekend shifts as part of the scheduling requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License.
• Strong background in orthopedic nursing.
• Experience with medical equipment such as walkers, coolers, SCDs, and CPMs.
• Compassionate and team-oriented attitude.
