Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with alternating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Med Surg RN for a contract position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients while adhering to established protocols and practices. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress in EMR systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health management and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from the facility.
