Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will possess a permanent Alaska nursing license and have experience in both labor and delivery settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and triage pregnant patients.
• Provide care for labor and delivery, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal well-being using GE fetal monitors.
• Assist with post-delivery care and maternal/newborn education.
• Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Alaska RN license.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• OR circulator experience required.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification.
• Current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
