Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of nursing experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients who require close monitoring and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips as per established protocols.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document all patient care and interventions accurately.
• Assist with emergent procedures such as cardioversion and central line placement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a progressive care or telemetry setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Must hold a valid RN license.
• Charge experience preferred, with understanding of patient ratios and staffing needs.
