Registered Nurse - Night Shift - 3x12 Hours

This position requires a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care through the application of the Nursing Process. This role involves working with patients across various age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The RN is responsible for documenting care thoroughly, maintaining clinical competencies, and participating in professional development. The position is set in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to new patient safety requirements as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process effectively for patient care management.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided, following hospital protocols.
• Handle patient diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, and other critical conditions.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient support.
• Attend to varied patient care needs, including post-operative and acute care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:6.
