Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Schedule

Shift: Varied, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must be flexible with no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a long-term care facility located on the site of a hospital. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care through various nursing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and treatments for residents
• Administer medications and manage medication administration
• Notify MD/NP of pertinent patient information
• Admit and discharge patients, ensuring proper protocols are followed
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide Gastrostomy Tube care and Urinary Catheter care
• Deliver nebulized treatments and manage Wound Vac care
• Administer CPAP therapy and provide Tracheostomy care
• Complete other assigned duties as required

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Proof of flu vaccination is required prior to the contract start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment. Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date in order to attend the health appointment on Friday.
