Job Description

We are urgently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess all necessary clearances and certifications, including ACLS and PALS, with a preference for CEN certification. The role involves providing high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma Center, treating a diverse patient population across various age groups and medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an emergency setting.
• Assess and triage patients accurately based on severity of illness and injury.
• Administer medications and oversee patient treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all patient care and interactions accurately in the electronic health records (EHR: EPIC).
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Basic nursing skills with experience in trauma care and critical care preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• 1 year of experience as an Emergency Room RN is preferred.
