RN - NICU - 13 Week Contract Position

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a NICU position. This is a 13-week contract role with on-call requirements. Candidates should possess significant NICU experience, particularly in Level 4 settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU setting.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, documenting and reporting changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized care plans.
• Engage with families, providing education and support throughout the treatment process.
• Utilize various medical equipment and technology specific to neonatal care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience required.
• Experience in a Level 4 NICU preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.

Schedule

This position requires a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift with on-call responsibilities and a commitment to covering 4 weekend shifts during the assignment.
