AM Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, 5 × 8 hr shifts, 40 hrs/week

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing a wide variety of nuclear medicine and PET (Photon Emission Tomography) procedures. This includes whole body imaging for oncology, as well as nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, GI imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging. The role involves administering radiopharmaceuticals according to imaging requirements, performing quality control on pharmaceuticals and instruments, and maintaining compliance records for state and federal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as per imaging protocols.
• Conduct nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures.
• Perform quality control on pharmaceuticals and instruments.
• Maintain accurate records for state and federal compliance.
• Collaborate with a team of technologists to ensure patient safety and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine required.
• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Completion of a certificate program specializing in positron emission tomography.
• Registered Technologist (N) or Equivalent License required.
