Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a short-term rehab unit specializing in wound care, orthopedic, and cardiac recovery. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, particularly in managing complex patient needs, while providing exceptional care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Admit and discharge patients, ensuring a smooth transition of care
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including wound vacs and PICC line care
• Provide patient and family education to promote understanding and recovery
• Perform assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting
• Valid New York RN License required
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• BLS certification required
