Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will provide high-quality nursing care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves both scrubbing and circulating surgical procedures, supporting a diverse range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
• Assist with surgical procedures by confirming sterile technique and proper handling of instruments.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting preferred.
• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with scrub roles is strongly preferred.
