Job Description

Join our dynamic Cardiovascular Progressive Care team, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgeries. This fast-paced unit specializes in post-operative recovery and managing complex cardiac cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-operative care for patients following various cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize cardiac telemetry to track patient vitals and respond to change in conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform chest tube management, epidural management, and tube feedings.
• Conduct IV gluccomander and various cardiac medication management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Prior experience in stepdown and telemetry nursing is essential.
• Preferred experience in cardiovascular and vascular surgery populations within the past year.
