Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with a possibility of extension up to 18 weeks.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, ensuring high-quality support and monitoring in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient vitals, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in the healthcare management system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Active Ohio license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months is mandatory.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for required.
