Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist for an on-call position. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric echo scanning with the ability to work independently in critical care areas. The role demands strong knowledge of complex congenital heart disease, cardiac surgical repairs, and pediatric cardiac anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiography exams in various settings, including IP, OP, and ICU.
• Work independently with confidence in critical care areas such as Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU.
• Provide family-centered care while interacting effectively with pediatric patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARDMS or CCI credential in pediatric echocardiography (RDCS-PE or RCS-PE).
• A minimum of 3 years of independent pediatric echo scanning experience.
• Experience in fetal echocardiography is preferred.
• AHA BLS certification and EKG recognition are required.
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required.

Schedule

This is an on-call position with the following hours:

• Saturday: 8 AM - 10 PM (14 hours)
• Sunday: 8 AM - 10 PM (14 hours)
• Monday: 5 PM - 5 AM (12 hours)

Guaranteed pay for 36 hours weekly regardless of call-ins or worked hours.
