Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Schedule

Night Shift: 4x12 Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with options for call.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to neonates, including those as young as 22 weeks gestation. The successful candidate will work with critically ill infants dealing with a variety of complex conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to neonates and their families.
• Monitor and document patient condition using the EPIC system.
• Perform specialized procedures including full body cooling, chest tube management, and tracheostomy care.
• Administer medications and assess drug exposure/withdrawal cases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient treatment.
• Participate in weekend coverage and float to other NICU units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an NICU setting.
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Active South Carolina RN license required.
• At least 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation system.
• Travel experience in a comparable unit is preferred.
