Night shift schedule consisting of 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30, with an option for 3x12 hours including call requirements.

Job Description

The NICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to critically ill newborns and perform medical procedures requiring a high level of skill and competency. The RN must be prepared to float to other NICU units or facilities when necessary and provide weekend coverage every other week.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes.
• Provide supportive measures for families and educate them on care processes.
• Implement nursing care plans for patients with a variety of neonatal diagnoses.
• Utilize specialized equipment for premature and critically ill infants.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience.
• Active RN license and certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• At least 1 year of experience working with the EPIC documentation system.
