PACU RN - Dayshift

Schedule

This position requires availability for dayshift, specifically from 05:30 AM to 04:00 PM, for four shifts per week. On average, there will be one call shift during the weekdays, with weekend call shifts also available.

Job Description

The PACU RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring patients' vital signs, managing pain control, and ensuring a safe transition from recovery to discharge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' post-operative conditions.
• Administer medications and manage pain control protocols.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Document all patient interactions and assessments accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience in a post-anesthesia care unit preferred.
