Physical Therapist - Acute Care Inpatient

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitative care in an acute care inpatient setting, specializing in stroke recovery and orthopedic cases. The position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions for stroke and orthopedic patients.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes and rehabilitation techniques.
• Collaborate with medical staff to align treatment goals and ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in acute care settings.
• Current and valid state Physical Therapist license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
