This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts including Days and Nights, every other weekend, with a 3x12 hour schedule.

Job Description

The Travel Adolescent Behavioral Health RN will manage clinical and related activities within the assigned unit. This role encompasses the implementation of nursing department philosophy, goals, and standards. Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, staffing, scheduling, supervising personnel in care delivery, and promoting positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical operations and supervise delivery of care in the assigned unit.
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and procedures.
• Coordinate orientation and educational needs of staff members.
• Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
• Float to Geriatric and Adult Behavioral Health units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Inpatient Adolescent (14-17 years) Psychiatric experience required.
• Must hold a valid RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• De-escalation training/certification is required; attendance at SAFE Training Course onsite is available.
