Schedule

12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with the possibility of floating to PCU for MSU assignments.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsible for managing a maximum of 6 patients, the RN will perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Float to the PCU as required, unless telemetry trained.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current nursing license in Nebraska.
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC).
• NIHSS Certification.
