Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends. No call requirements.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery unit provides exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns. As a Registered Nurse, you will be integral in offering competent nursing staff and assistance during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.
• Assist in various procedures including SVD, cerclages, and C-sections.
• Provide nursing support in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Ensure compliance with attendance policies and departmental guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Required certifications: EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, C-Section circulation.
• Preferred: Internal monitor placement competency and experience in a Level IV high-volume unit.
