Registered Nurse - Neuro/Stroke Specialty

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Work shift: 07:00 AM - 04:30 PM. On-call from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM on weekdays and from 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM on weekends. On-call every other week, totaling approximately 10-15 days per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with neuro/stroke experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support within a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients with neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient health and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven experience in neuro/stroke nursing.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
