Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care on a neuro unit, focusing on patient safety and implementing a teamwork approach to patient care. The unit handles general medicine with an emphasis on neurological conditions. The selected candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Provide direct patient care and support.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
• Participate in unit orientation and training sessions.
• Float to other units as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and medication administration guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Neuro experience and NIH certification preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience is a plus.
