Experienced Night Shift Emergency Department Nurse

This position requires a night shift schedule from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) nurse to join our team. The ED features 48 treatment spaces with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Assess patients, develop care plans, and implement interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state nursing license.
• ED nursing experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
