Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts (6:30pm - 7:00am) every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide both direct and indirect patient care, ensuring optimal patient care and flow through the Emergency Room. You will evaluate outcomes, consult with specialists, and adjust nursing care processes as needed. The role involves meeting psychosocial and physical care needs of patients and their families, reflecting responsibility and professionalism in your care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with other specialists as necessary.
• Adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care.
• Communicate effectively with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment responses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS certifications preferred.
