Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Day, 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

Call Requirements: 1-2 weekends per month, 1-2 weekdays per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing surgical assistance in a variety of specialties, primarily working with adult and geriatric populations, along with some pediatric cases. Our facility operates five operating rooms, utilizing advanced equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies needed for various procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operating room.
• Monitor and manage surgical equipment during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room scrub experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in General, Orthopedic, C-sections, GYN surgery, ENT, Pediatric dental, and Urology cases.
