Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

Select Medical prioritizes patient safety and employee safety in all aspects of care. As an Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring both patient and employee safety while providing high-quality therapeutic services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards discharge.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address barriers to discharge.
• Effectively manage individual and group treatment sessions.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in student training and supervision as required.
• Engage in professional development and advocacy efforts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• Valid, current state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient rehab setting.
