Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description

The Progressive Care Unit is a 44-bed unit focused on patient-centered care for individuals requiring neuro and trauma care. The unit is equipped with advanced medical technology to provide comprehensive support for patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro and spinal checks for patients.
• Perform C-Collar placements and apply TLSO braces as necessary.
• Administer chest tubes and PCA pumps, along with IV infusions.
• Assist in lumbar drain and feeding tube placements.
• Facilitate blood transfusions as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Experience in neuro and trauma care is required for consideration.
