MRI Tech Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule or Shift

Primarily 10-hour shifts during daytime hours. Flexibility is required as shifts may vary (6 AM to 9 AM start times), and on occasion may extend until 9:30 PM. Additionally, on-call duties include one night per week and every 4th or 5th weekend.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, monitoring patient safety, and providing quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. The position requires working collaboratively within a team in a teaching facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans utilizing advanced MRI technology.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Administer contrast injections as necessary.
• Complete documentation in the Epic system as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT MRI certification is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in MRI technology is required.
• Teaching facility experience is required.
• Epic experience from within the past two years is mandatory.
